This lounge chair is built for the slow hours: reading, reflecting, or simply absorbing the particular quality of afternoon light. The Martin chair begins with teak, finished naturally to allow the wood to shine.

The material choice of teak wood was deliberate — it brings the right weight, the right texture, and the right relationship with a clear coat finish that highlights the natural grain to achieve this particular aesthetic. Teak's natural oil content makes it exceptionally resistant to moisture and wear, while its tight grain takes finish beautifully.

Anchor a living room corner with this chair paired with a sculptural floor lamp and a low side table. It also works beautifully in a master bedroom sitting area or as accent seating in a spacious home office.
